Double-clamping type is a connection method that makes full use of the effective rigidity of the metal pipe, the elastic compression ratio of the sealing ring, and the length of the socket, and uses clamps to conduct radial crimping on both sides of the U-shaped groove of the pipe socket. The double-clamp connection technology is mainly applied to thin-walled stainless steel pipes and carbon steel pipes.
Function configuration
Double-clamped thin-walled cano de aço inoxidável is composed of pipe fittings, pipes and sealing rings, which need professional tools for crimping.
Technical principles
The double-clamp connection is derived from the mature mainstream technology in Germany. Due to the full use of the effective rigidity of the stainless steel pipe itself, the two ends of the pipe and pipe fittings are crimped with calipers, which realizes the face-fixing, double-sided crimping and double guarantee, thus greatly improving its tensile strength and anti-rotation ability.
The double-compression pipeline adopts the advanced compression ratio principle of the O-ring seal. After the O-ring in the U-shaped groove is compressed, it makes it play a long-term elasticity, thus achieving the purpose of permanent sealing.
Advantages of double-clamping type
Double-clamped thin-walled stainless steel pipe inherits all the advantages of the clamp type pipe and makes up for the shortcomings of the single-clamp type pipe in the use process:
- Double-clamping pipe fittings allow the error of the pipe to increase, and the adaptability is stronger;
- The tensile resistance of double compression is 1.8 times higher than that of single compression, which is more suitable for high-rise buildings with high water pressure;
- The double-clamping pipe fitting will not puncture the sealing ring when inserting the pipe;
- The double-clamp sealing ring is sealed in the stainless steel pipe fittings, the durability of the sealing ring is significantly improved, and the extrusion stress of the double-clamp sealing ring on the left and right sides is uniform, and the sealing ring will not be squeezed out from the side by water pressure, which makes up for the deficiency in the application process of single clamp;
- At the double clamp joint, the pipe will not affect the sealing ring when it is bent and deformed by external force.

Applicable fields
Double-clip connection is one of the most reasonable, safe and reliable connection methods of thin-walled stainless steel pipes in China. It has already become the mainstream connection method of domestic stainless steel pipes. It is widely used in many system fields such as direct drinking water, tap water, cold and hot water, heating, gas, fire sprinkler, etc.
